Vestra hires Deutsche UK wealth head as Scott hands on day-to-day duties

Deutsche's former head of UK private wealth management David Campbell is to join Vestra Wealth as managing partner, taking over the day to day running of the company from founder David Scott.

Campbell takes over as managing partner, but will report into founding and senior partner Scott (pictured). The boutique said this will allow Scott to focus on improving the firm's offering to meet clients’ requirements and focus on growth opportunities.

Commenting on the hire, Scott said: 'Phase one was about getting the business up and established. There are lots of opportunities in our offshore business, ultra high net worth and platforms and I need time to focus on those. David Campbell is someone who complements me perfectly. He will do a lot of the day to day running of the business and let me spend my time based on our vision.'

The firm, which was founded in 2007, now has £2.6 billion in assets under management.
