Winfried Bischoff: Lloyds bonuses will be 'lowest of any bank'

Lloyds chairman Sir Winfried Bischoff vowed his bank will pay the 'lowest' [bonuses] undoubtedly of any bank'

Appearing before parliament's banking standard committee Bischoff said: "We are very conscious of the point that as a taxpayer-owned company we should, perhaps more than others, be very much aware of the public sentiment in relation to [bonuses] and we will be'

The comments come after Barclays boss Antony Jenkins gave up his bonus last week.

Lloyds chief executive Antonio Horta-Osorio (pictured), who was also appearing before the committee, refused to be drawn into commenting on whether he would be receiving a bonus this year.
