Yousefian exits Charteris after four months

Tony Yousefian is to leave Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers less than five months after joining the firm, Wealth Manager can reveal.

Yousefian (pictured) quit City Financial for Charteris in March this year, having joined the firm in April 2013 following its acquisition of OPM Fund Management, where he had worked as chief investment officer and ran the EFA OPM Fixed Interest and OPM Property Portfolio funds.

Yousefian took the £9.5 million EFA OPM Property Portfolio fund with him, which is now called the FP Charteris Property fund and is managed by Charteris chief executive Ian Williams.

Over the past year the fund has returned 12% compared with an average of 7.9% from the IMA Property sector. Yousefian ranks second in Citywire's Global Property Equity sector for the period.

Charteris declined to comment.
